We had a great time on our scavenger hunt. The children had a list of items to find and they had to take pictures for evidence. The sun was shining and we had a wonderful time outside.
Eco Club!
Today we checked the pond to make sure it had enough water. We filled the pond up again with the rain water we have collected in buckets.
We also made posters to put around the school to make people eco aware!
First Aid Club!
Tonight in First Aid Club we practised putting each other in the recovery position!
Eco Club!
Our after school ‘Eco club’ have made a plan and are all set to make our school even more Eco friendly. Tonight we topped up our pond with the rain water we have been collecting to keep the frogs happy, and did a litter pick around the school grounds.
Clwb Cymraeg!
What a wonderful Clwb Cymraeg we have had this half term. We have made posters to display around the school to highlight the importance of speaking welsh. We have followed a set of instructions to make welsh rarebit. Roedd yn flasus! As well as learning a welsh folk dance and using the same music to create and perform our own.
First Aid Club!
We’ve had a fantastic time so far in our lunch time ‘First Aid Club!’ We’ve learnt how to do CPR, bandages and slings so far.
Coding Club!
Today we have had fun using ‘SCRATCH’ and have completed projects in ‘Module 1’. We have created a ‘Chatbot’ that can talk to users and have also created a boat race to get gamers to an island.
Photography Club!
Our after school photography club has been a great success so far. We can’t wait to choose our favourite photos for our exhibition. We’ve been extremely lucky to have Paul from the ELRS to run our after school photography club.
Coding Club
The first day of coding club was a success! Pupils were able to understand what coding is, discuss the vocabulary needed and were able to create their first ‘Scratch’ project! We are all looking forward to developing our skills over the next few weeks!
