Internet Safety Day 2020!
Well done to our Digital Leaders who presented to the whole school today during an assembly! They told us how we can stay safe online and what we should do in different situations.
All classes took part in Internet Safety Day activities!
Year 5&6 Margam Park Residential 2020!
What a fun packed week we had at Margam Park for this years residential! We were so lucky to have beautiful weather which put a smile on our faces through out the week! Every year we go on a residential with the year 5 and 6’s and this years fun was no different to the last!
This years activities were:
- the Pulpit walk,
- thermal insulator science investigation,
- ‘survival’ shelter building,
- pond dipping,
- finding and categorising bugs,
- river study,
- team building activities.
We can’t wait for next years residential already!!
NSPCC Number Day!
The whole school enjoyed celebrating NSPCC Number Day! Each class celebrated in their own way by completing fun and interactive math games/activities. We also enjoyed a whole school bingo session in the afternoon where the older children were able to support the younger children in the school.
Eco Day!
We had a fantastic time celebrating Eco Day! We were lucky that Matt Bunt came to run sessions with each class so we could all learn about plastic and waste. He also did an engaging assembly on waste and how it is impacting on our world. The whole school wore green and we really enjoyed our day!
