This half term our topic ‘Let’s be friends’ has been all about friendship, kindness and looking after each other. It has been wonderful to see all the children playing so nicely together and making new friends.
As part of our topic we learnt and performed the fable ‘The Lion and the Mouse.’ We hope you enjoyed watching our performance on Seesaw.
We also read the book ‘Have you filled a Bucket today?’ and worked hard to be ‘Bucket Fillers,’ filling each other’s buckets with random acts of kindness. We made friendship bracelets and paper hearts for a special friend and worked together to create a special friendship quilt. We finished off our topic by planning and preparing a giant friendship picnic.
We have had a great response to homework this half term! Thank you all for your hard work and to all the parents that have shared homework with us via Seesaw. It has been wonderful to share everyone’s homework videos and photos with the whole class.
