We had lots of fun whilst raising money for Cancer Research UK #raceforlife

What a great day we had at Aberavon Beach as a special treat to celebrate a great year!

Well done to the ‘Yellow’ team on winning the Sport Day Cup this year and a big thank you to our PTA ‘Friends of Cymer Afan’ for buying us some fantastic gazebos to keep us cool.

We are sad to be saying goodbye to our wonderful school cook Aunty Sheena. Sheena has been a school cook in the valley since 1981 when she started in Croeserw School. She started cooking in Cymer Afan in January 1987 and has been with us ever since. After almost 40 years of cooking Sheena is hanging up her apron to enjoy her retirement.

Happy retirement Sheena. Thank you for looking after us and feeding us so well with your lovely cooking.
